FAQs

Why do I need an athletic mouth guard?

Mouth guards are vital for recreational, amateur, and professional athletes of any age. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends wearing a properly-fitted mouthguard for all sports and activities and the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) mandates properly-fitted mouth guards for many sports.

It is estimated that 39% of dental injuries are sports-related. Any athlete who participates in a combat sport or a sport with the potential for contact with others is recommended to wear a mouthguard.
